Dealing with Us

Web Design

1. After consultation - which, incidentaly, considers you, your business and its needs, rather than just talking web sites - Midland Web Services (MWS) will offer a full itemised quotation.
2. 50% of the Contract Price is required to confirm your order.
3. We will then register your Domain Name - to YOU not to MWS, as some do.
4. We will arrange for your first 12 months' web space to 'host' you web site.
5. We will then proceed with the intial design for your early consideration.
6. After recieving your intial reaction and comments to the initial design, we will make required changes, again, for your comments.
7. Once this is agreed, we will then proceed with adding your content to the pages. To avaoid additional costs, gontent should be supplied to us in an electronic format - email, CD, memory stick, etc.
8. This process continues until all content is added and the site is complete and ready for publishing.
9. Upon reciept of the balance of the contract (50%), MWS will launch the site.
10. You then have 30 days to check and test the site. Errors & minor changes can be made during this period.

On-going Costs

1. After the first 12 months, you will be reminded in good time for the renewal of the following: -
2. Domain Names Registration - Domain names are registered on your behalf and will be registerd for a minimum of eitehr 1 or 2 years, depending on the type of domain to be registerd.
1. a minimum of 12 months for Generic Top Level Domain Registrations ("gTLDs" - .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .name and .pro) or
2. a minimum of 2 years for Country Code Top Level Domain (.co.uk, .org.uk, .net.uk, .me.uk, .ltd.uk, .plc.uk)
3. Web Site Hosting - This is chargeable every 12 months.
4. Failure to pay these on-going costs, may result in your web site being marked 'Web site unavailable'.
5. With effect from 1st October 2007, all domain renewal invoices will be raised automatically and, once raised renewal will be committed.

2. MWS quotations ae based on all content - images and text - is supplied in electronic format. Email, CD, memory stick, etc., unless otherwise agreed. Additional cost may be incurreed where not agreed beforehand.
3. MWS cannot be held responsible for loss of service due to conditions by third parties. This includes loss of internet service by ISP's and/or BT.
4. All prices in this web site exclude VAT at the standard rate.
5. MWS reserve the right to sub-contract any of its services without the prior consent.
